First of all we want to recommend the excellent ski school that is located in Soldeu. It is said to be the best ski school in Andorra and known to be one of the most established and renowned ones in Europe. There are 240 instructors available, many of which are English speaking.
To give parents a bit of a break, there are nurseries available in Soldeu as well as El Tarter and other resorts. The Mickey Snow Club is ideal for kids between 2 and 3 years of age who do not yet know how to ski. For older children there is the Jardin de Neige ski kindergarten.
Soldeu boasts of a variety of restaurants and cafeterias in which one can warm up with a drink, a snack or a proper meal. Within the resort centre you will also find a number of bars which are always busy with skiers of all ages who like to enjoy a drink or two in the evenings. One can choose between the Roc Bar, the Aspen, the Villager Bar, the Fat Albert's, the Ice Berg and many other venues.
Spa facilities can also be found in the area along with a number of outdoor sports, cinemas, an ice rink, heli skiing, facilities for snow mobiling and sports centres that offer tennis and squash courts and more. Of course there are also shops available which are often providing duty-free goods.
